Tarapore School

Tarapore School started in Agrico in the year 2004, with the need to provide quality education to the eastern part of the city. This school was out-sourced by Tata Steel, being run by the Narbod Educational Foundation and is permanently affiliated to the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations.

Tarapore School aspires to be a dynamic, technologically advanced centre of excellence, providing holistic, alternative education and building global and environmental conscientiousness in a safe and supportive environment.

Goals for 2025

By 2025,

The school is segmented into 4 levels. Each level is under an Academic Head. The Foundational level (L.Kg. to Std. II) comprises 16 sections of 42 students each. The Preparatory level ( Stds. III to V) comprises 12 sections of around 42 students each. The Middle School level ( Stds. VI to VIII ) comprises 12 sections of around 42 students each. The Secondary School level ( Stds. IX to XII) comprises 13 sections of around 42 students each, being prepared for the ICSE examination at the end of Std. X and the ISC examination at the end of Std. XII. The school follows the new curriculum prescribed by the CISCE board and is also in the process of aligning its teaching methodology to the requirements of the National Education Policy 2020. The school also offers an NIOS curriculum for students of Stds. IX and X and has tied up with Kerala Samajam Model School for implementation of the same
