The sub-staff and Group 4 security personnel are outsourced from a service provider. However, their dedicated service and loyalty has made them an integral part of the school since 2004.
Tarapore School always believes in educating every member of its community, and not just the students. That is why all the members of the sub-staff are given the opportunity to receive an education. Hindi, Mathematics and English classes are conducted for the sub-staff by the faculty, through fixed periods in the timetable, to promote literacy. Awards are also given to them for academic performance. Two members of the sub staff have completed their matriculation, going in for further
studies and one of them is now employed in the School office, as an Office clerk.
A dedicated, structured programme was created for the sub-staff, not only to make every hand literate, but to go further and train them in Computers, setting up the mike system in the Auditorium and to successfully complete their Matriculation examination. This year vocational training was introduced for them, as the school has procured sewing machines and the didis are being taught cutting and stitching of garments.
