Parents / Safety Code For Parents

Parents will ensure that they follow all safety regulations, and will inculcate an attitude of safety in their wards, by providing the best example for them.

EXPECTED SAFE BEHAVIOUR FROM PARENTS

1.Parents should ensure wearing helmets while riding on two-wheelers and make the children wear helmets too. The safety of the family is important.
2.Kindly observe the traffic rules as they have been made keeping in mind the safety of each and every citizen. They are setting an example that the child will also follow.
3.The child should always be asked to share if he or she feels uncomfortable with a particular person.
4.Take every opportunity to teach safety habits to the child. At Tarapore School, students are encouraged to always hold the banister while climbing up and down the stairs. Parents also need to follow that safety practice .
5.Parents should educate children not to lean over banisters, play with electrical appliances or sharp objects.
6.L.Kg. students are allowed to leave the class only if the guardian produces the identity card. In case the identity card is misplaced, parents may collect one more from the School Office. In emergencies, the Fee book will also be accepted.
7.The usage of L.P.G. cylinders in the vans or autos by which the ward comes to school should be checked. The child should not be sent in an overloaded vehicle.
8.Parents / Guardians coming personally to pick up their wards should report at the school gate ten minutes before the school gets over.
9.Kindly do not park the vehicle directly in front of either gate.
10.Park the vehicle at right angles to the school wall. This is a courtesy that parents extend to others, so that more people have place to park.
11.As the children are growing, do not allow them to ride two-wheelers before the permitted age.
12.From Std.VI onwards, students will be allowed to come by bicycle only if, they wear a cycling helmet and get a cycling permit from the School office.

It is only when we all convey the same message to the students that they learn the best. Let us teach children the best habits when they are young.
